kshaw popularly known as "Sam the Brave" was given the Final salute with military honors on June 27th.He died due to his lung disease and was 94. He is one of the most respected militarily men of India and was the mastermind behind the creation of Bangladesh. His contribution to the Indian Army and to the 1971 war against Pakistan can never be forgotten. Born in Amirstar in 1914, he made to the Indian army in the year 1932 when it was setup by the British. He became the chief of Indian Army in the year 1964.He was handsome, self-assured and had courage and determination along with what you call a “sharp military mind”. Some people never die and he is one among them.
